Classic Stone features a wide range of elegant planters, water features and furniture that were originally designed by Tim Lewis. He started the business 25 years ago, realising that there were few well designed, good quality planters in the marketplace. From there, the business branched out into furniture, water features and other items. Even though the range has grown, Classic Stone remains committed to ensuring that each item it produces still conforms to the original vision of quality.

Original forms are crafted from plaster and wood

Each piece is manufactured from a reconstituted stone material and is handcrafted to achieve a high-quality finish. Original forms are crafted from plaster and wood. Moulds are taken and these are used to produce each piece. The reconstituted stone medium is placed into the moulds and then reinforced with a high strength fibre cement material. Later, each item is treated to create a finish that is unique to the individual product. As with any natural material, there are subtle variations in the surface texture and colour, enhancing the range’s handcrafted yet sophisticated appeal.

Classic Stone has worked closely with many Landscape Architects, Architects, Developers, Landscapers and Interior Architects over the years in designing products that meet their requirements for specific projects. The advantage of working in the industry for many years is that we can draw on those years of experience and be sure that we can provide solutions that we know will stand the test of time.
